Desperate anyone? Blind Bartimaeus was and he made no bones about it. This man was begging for a long time but desperately wanted to get out of his situation. With faith raising-up in him, hearing that Jesus was passing by he could not keep quiet. he began shouting JESUS SON OF DAVID HAVE MERCY ON ME.
Those around him wanted to shut him up, but he knew exactly that he needed help and he needed it now, and so he cried out the more. Are you in need of divine intervention? Don't let the critics shut you up, cry out in faith to the Lord of lords until you are delivered. Christ is just a hearing away. (Read Bartimaeus story in Luke 18:35-43, Mark 10:46-52.
