Jesus Christ had no home of his own yet He had a heart for all, even the greatest of sinners. He would walk the dusty road, healed the sick and even raised the dead. Jesus Christ loved us so much that he stumbled under the heavy weight of the cross, and was beaten beyond recognition but he continued to the last mile.
He was so bent on loving us unto death that he was hung on a cross between two thieves. During this time of agony he was stripped of every piece of clothing, thirsty and rejected with no one to turn to. Even then he did not give-up on us. Greater love has no man before him, or after him. Our Saviour is the greatest lover of all lovers.
Even if you are showered today roses, chocolate and wine still remember there is a greater lover.
Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. St. John 15:13 (NIV)
