Righteousness: It is an attribute that implies that a person's actions are justified, and can have the connotation that the person has been "judged" or "reckoned" as leading a life that is pleasing to God. ..wikipedia.org/wiki/Righteousness
Our breastplate of righteousness is simply being a person of integrity and conduct. God looks for right living (integrity and conduct) in us. This is our protection, our covering from the abuse of the enemy.
I am reminded that we do not fight against flesh and blood that seem to offend us but it is against the spirit that influence them. God will use our righteous living to vindicate us against the attack of the enemy; to give us the victory we are seeking in our situations.
We will find peace and confidence as we walk in righteousness (right living). Isaiah 32:17 The fruit of righteousness will be peace; the effect of righteousness will be quietness and confidence forever
Let our lives at home, work, church or play be righteous before God so our battles will be easier.
