Psalm 84: 1 How lovely is your dwelling place, O LORD Almighty!
Psalm 84: 4: Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you.
The Children of Israel had to go to the Tent of Meeting or the Temple to be in the presence of the Lord, unless God decided to pay a visit to them in other places. We are so blessed that He never leaves us nor forsake us. He is always with us. Thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ for leaving the Holy Spirit with us.
Psalm 84 3: Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young— a place near your altar, O LORD Almighty, my King and my God
The above verse tells us how beautiful is the presence of the Lord that even the birds run into it to find peace and safety for their young. They would find a place near the altar of God to build their nest and have their young. Let us enter boldly to the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16) to find peace and rest. We can grow from strength to strength in the presence of God. I can testify to that, that in my weakest of moment I find peace and strength in the presence of God. I am here today because of the presence of God.
My sisters if you are are facing moments of despair and loneliness begin to dwell in the presence of the Lord and you will be blessed. Psalm 84: 4 says Blessed are those who dwell in your house they are ever praising you. You may feel that you cannot get to that place, but "press-in", and look to hills from which your help comes.
I pray that as you read this you will feel the presence of the Lord with you. Be still and know that He is God. (Psalm 46:10).
