Ephesian 6: 10-12 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. In my previous blog I indicated that when we are going to war we need to go with the troop, but if we do not know who the enemy is we may just end up fighting the innocent. In verse 12 of clearly states who the enemy is not. Our fight is not against flesh and blood. It is not the man or the woman who wronged us but it is the rulers, authorities, powers of this dark work and the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore we are in a spiritual battle. I just noticed that the enemy is not in the singular, which confirms that we must go to war with the troop, the backup, as there is strength in unity.
Lord before we go to battle we ask that you open our eyes to see the enemy in Jesus Name.
