THE SECRECT PLACE

The first thing of significance is that the place is secret. ...... Secret may be in a place difficult to get to....  This secret place may be hard to find but it is for everybody who may desire to locate it. This secret place is somewhere close to the Most High, the Almighty. ......To be in the secret place is to be pure in heart and clean of hands as Psalms 24 ascertains. No sin can be there. Psalm 91: (The Message/KJV)

• You who sit down in the High God's presence, spend the night in Shaddai's shadow (The Message)
• He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty (KJV)
  
  WHERE IS THE SECRET PLACE?

The secret place is in God's presence. It is a place where we should all want to be.

In our good times and in our adversities we should strive, push, be determined to find our way into the the secret place of our Most High God. In other words at all times.

HOW DO WE GET THERE?

MAKE DATES WITH HIM: Just like we make lunch dates, movie dates or even icecream dates with our friends, familes, or co-workers. We need to make dates with our Lord whether it be morning, noon or night. The time is our choice. It is a time we look forward to with anticipation, because we are going to be in the presence of the King.

WHAT DO WE TAKE WITH US: Just as we take our purse/pocketbooks on our dates, we would want to take our bible, notebook, our undivided heart, our devotional, if we use one, and any other material that is necessary. A dictionary would be good as we can look-up the meaning of those words He speaks to us that seem to be hard to understand.

WHAT DO WE DO ON OUR DATE:

PRAY (Talk with our date)- Conversing with Him. Sharing our hearts with Him. Seeking Him with pure hearts. Surrendering our situations to Him. Through our laughters or our tears we can get into His secret place.  Just share with Him your heart, He is a great listener.

READ:  Read the scriptures, ask Him to bring the revealation He has for you through His word.

Meditate on the word you have read; write down/journal what has been revealed to you and ask Him to make the Word real in your life.

Let your worship go up to Him.............HE WILL TAKE YOU TO THE SECRET PLACE:

IN THE SECRET PLACE YOU WILL FIND PEACE FOR YOUR STORM, JOY FOR YOUR SORROW, REFUGE FROM THE STORM, PROTECTION FROM THE ENEMY, BEAUTY FOR YOUR ASHES, HE WILL GIVE HIS ANGELS AUTHORITY TO KEEP YOU;
HEALING, (Physically, spiritually, and emotionally), ENCOURAGEMENT, ANSWERS TO PRAYER, A WORD FOR SOMEONE ELSE IN THIS SEASON.

Verse 2
 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. (KJV)
Say this: "God, you're my refuge. I trust in you and I'm safe!"  (The Message)
