PRAYER IS OUR BATTLEGROUND

In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia, a revelation was given to Daniel............Its message was true and it concerned a great war. Daniel 10:1
We are in a real world, one with pain and hurt. This is not just a physical battle but a spiritual problem, and we must battle in the spirit with prayer. Daniel had a vision and it concerned suffering; a great war. Through our prayers we bring the enemy's plans into the Kingdom of God.
Daniel prayed and fasted for his nation. He did not just have a quiet moment in the morning or evening, but he fasted and prayed for three weeks. In other words he did spiritually battled for his nation. Like Daniel let us battle in prayer for our families, for our christian brothers and sisters and our nations.
Immediately when Daniel prayed the answer was sent (Daniel 10: 12 - 13), but there was resistance from the enemy. I feel that God could have immediately brought the answer but he allowed Daniel to remain in the battle for a while to make him spiritually equipped.
Have you been praying for answers to the crisis in your life and it seems hopeless? Like Daniel remain on the prayer battleground, Do not giveup we are more than conqueror. It may take a day, or even years but don't give-up stay on the battleground with prayer.

Praise God for your posting of Psalm 18:20-24...God gave me that scripture about 3 weeks ago, and I have not been able to get OVER it! haha...I have been sharing it with everyone I know. What a beatiful, promising scripture from our Saviour.
