Psalm 68: 6 God sets the lonely in families, he leads forth the prisoners with singing......... (NIV)
There comes a time when we all face loneliness; it could be we have lost a loved one through migration, children going off to college or leaving home to be on their own, separation, divorce, or even death. We are reminded that God cares for us so much that He sets the lonely in families and will lead us into singing.
The Lord is offering us a new song, a new family let us reach out and receive from Him.
Lord in our loneliness open our eyes to see the families you have prepared for us, in our church, in our neighbourhood, in our schools, on the job or wherever you have placed them. Open our hearts to receive their love and lavish your love on us. Give us your peace which passes all understanding. Amen.
