Freedom from emotional pain of offense

Conditions for release from emotional prison of offense -

Choose not to be offended.

Be quick to forgive.

Sometimes our pride will try to get in the way and keep us in bondage of division and broken relationships. Self inspection and truthfulness to self will help to start the process to freedom.

Healing brings new life and restored joy. When we are offended we become angry and bitter. Releasing the offense is in the forgiveness which makes our healing easier.

Our refusing to be offended and our forgiveness does not make the offender free of the action, but we are made free from anger, bitterness, headaches, revenge, lack of sleep, depression, mistrust, among many other things.

Let's try, with God's help to let it go.
